- Wow, I've had this puzzling problem for days — getting a blank page on a J3.2.1 site when I click on the template in the template manager with "XML file did not load." I've been using Firefox, but encountered more blank pages in the backend with Chrome on another website when I'd try to "Save and Close." Clearing the cache and deleting the expired cache solved it. Thanks Matt Nelson.

- Just a quick note. I have in the past two days had this same problem also due to moving db and site. A very simple fix that worked on both of my website is to go backend to Extentions / Extention Manager choose tab Discover and tick on Gantry in the list then click install. Also click on Discover on the top right refresh button. That's it it all works again.

- Fantastic. had the same issue as the original poster but all I did was clear cache and purge expired and the rockettheme template works fine now. Thumbs UP

- had the same issue when rename the joomla directory.
  cleared cache, purge expired cache solve the issue
  in case anyone looking at where are they, they are here:

- I had to ftp in and go to: /administrator/cache/ and delete the files.
  
  Purging did not work for me, but ftping in did.
