Hi Dan, Thank you for the detailed explanation but i think you missed something in my first post. I am not using google calendar at all. I am creating my events within Joomla using Jevents and then displaying the events with RokMiniEvents3. Since the events are being created within Joomla/JEvents and the timezones for Joomla, JEvents and RokMiniEvents3 are all set to America/New_York shouldn't RokMiniEvents3 frontend time output be the same as the event time created in JEvents? If it helps to Solve this my Joomla version is v3.4.1, I am using the latest Jevents and I am also using Gantry 5.0.0-rc.3 PS - You probably misunderstood because the OP's problem had to do with Google. I apologize if I should have created a new thread.

Hey Dan, So, I take it most of the problems are with the Google API then? What I don't understand, if you have Force Timezone set in the RokMiniEvents module, WHY doesn't it use that? Is it the way that RokMiniEvents reads the timestamp from Google? It is also baffles me that if my Google event is set in Eastern Time zone, even if your global config was something other than Eastern, should it not show the time zone that the event is actually set in?? For example, even if my hosting server is in Denver, CO - and I am in Vancouver BC, but my google calendar is set to America/Toronto time zone, would it not make more sense to show the time zone beside the time: Friday, April 17, 2015 at 7:00pm EDT?? Maybe it is Google, but it would be nice to have it show the timezone, so at least people would know what timezone the event is in... Cheers

You could try 'Client Side Date' in the Template Manager... OR try adjusting the settings in Global Configuration > Server > Locale Settings > Time Zone

Hi, I have updated RokMiniEvents from v2 to v3.0.2 today. The new Google API seems to be working fine, my Calendar events are nicely loaded and shown. However, when the navigation is added to navigate to the next set of events, the navigation seems to be not working. When clicking the timeline or arrows I get an error on the modules/mod_rokminievents3/ajax.php file. mootools-core.js:485 POST http://www.moederhart.be/modules/mod_rokminievents3/ajax.php?abe9d3dd67b734828357ca0288f414f2=1 500 (Internal Server Error) From the changelog I can see a fix for navigation was done in v3.0.1. Could it be there is still a navigation bug in v3.0.2 left? Glad to give more details if required. Thanks in advance!

I am getting this error when trying to display rokminievents3 Warning: mkdir(): Permission denied in /home/liquid/public_html/modules/mod_rokminievents3/lib/RokMiniEvents3/Source/google/api-php-client/src/Google/Cache/File.php on line 102 Could not create storage directory: /tmp/Google_Client/57 I have checked to make sure all of the tmp directories have 755 permissions. I also manually created the Google_Client/57 directory in each tmp directory I found. Any idea what I'm missing? Thanks

ok - so where is your newly created rokminievents3 module then? I don't see one in module manager? As I said, you have to recreate the module in rokminievents3 - do that first then I can help if you have issues with that. Regards, Mark.

Hi Jem, thank you so much for your kind and speedy response. I did send them a message via the CONTACT US tab, was that the correct way to go? My time zone showed that I still had an hour and a half. Joined: Fri Jan 23, 2009 12:03 pm It may depend on the time zone vs the server. You should contact support. http://www.rockettheme.com/contact-us
