Is it possible to assign a template to a category?

    • Thanks for any help in advance.

Have one of the rocket themes as default and would like to have another one assigned to a category (or section doesn't matter) so our client can create new content without going into the backend to manually assign a template.

Ive read posts about using a URL template=blah template change but thats not going to happen automatically and the particular client is just not up for that.

Another one suggests php in the head that reads the ID of the page and applying the template based on that.

Do either of these ways have merit? or should I just get one of her staff to add new content for her and say its too hard. :)

      cheers

    • if the category is a menu item it will affect what you probably want.
So go to something like Administrator > Site > Templates > Choose template and select assign.

      Something like that...

Time to create page: 0.048 seconds
