Looks like the long awaited Joomla! 1.5 Beta will be released on October the 12th!

- Wow, exciting news. But, until the final version of 1.5 is released. I'll hang tight with my current Joomla 1.0.x version. I would hate to upload and have things not work and the template not be a perfect fit.

And the questions I have is--how will our rocket theme templates work with this?
If changes need to be made to the templates, what is the time table?

I wouldn't worry too much about this because after all, our RocketTheme Head honcho is also on the Joomla! Dev Team as a UI Designer/php developer. I'm sure he's already two steps ahead.

- I have already tested some of the templates and they all work fine in 1.5. The caveat is that you have to enable "legacy mode" in 1.5. You have to do this for any 1.X template though, and it only 'adds' 1.0 compatibility, it doesn't mean you can't use 1.5 features in legacy mode.
