Suckerfish dropdown appears 'behind' form items in IE

Posted 17 years 8 months ago
    • I am using the suckerfish menu with dropdowns and all works fine in Firefox. However, I have multiple FORMS on the site and when using Internet Explorer the menu items appear BEHIND any form items (text boxes, drop down boxes, checkboxes etc).

Any advice greatly appreciated !! This is stopping my site going live at the moment, so thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

    • Some problem here - www.marchesschool.co.uk

Site to go live in 3 days!

Only faults in IE6 on dropdowns (jump menus) does not fault on standard form boxes.
      Perfect on other browsers!

    • Is the Z-index a kind of "layering" method?

    • Yes it controls the priority of layers, the higher the index, the further "forward" a layer will appear. Well, thats the theory anyway :)
