    • If the search engines don't pick up particles content, what about Custom HTML?

    • Search engines will pick up particle content because they are looking at the complete rendered page in order to index things. What won't work on particles is Joomla search (and most likely other local search modules) because particle content is stored in flat files. So, if for example you a Joomla search module on your page (or a rokajaxsearch that uses joomla search) then it won't find the content from particles (only your article or other limited modules). Search engines (e.g. google, bing, etc) will find the content on your pages because it's rendered in the finished html page.

CustomHTML module content will be picked up by both Search engines and Joomla search module. CustomHTML PARTICLE content would only be picked up by a search engine.

I hope that clarifies things for you.

      Regards, Mark.
