Trying to install joomla template on Hostgator server.
And I get the error Failed to load 'rt_xenon' template: You are running PHP 5.3.29, but Gantry 5 Framework needs at least PHP 5.4.0 to run.
Domain name: arizonaimjurycenters.com
My PHP version is 5.6. I talked to Hostgtator support and they said that for some reason the website does not see the correct PHP Version.
I also tried to modify htaccess file by adding the line "AddHandler application/x-httpd-php56 .php .php5 .php4 .php3"
Please help!

This is a Joomla Forum Tool we use often:
- Download and use the Joomla Forum Post Assistant to do more detailed checks.
- Download the attached Joomla Forum Post Assistant "fpa-en.zip" file your to HDD.
- Extract out the file "fpa-en.php" and Upload this to your servers Joomla ROOT folder
- Open a browser window and run http://my-site.com/fpa-en.php
- In the SECURE tab of your reply post the http://my-site.com/fpa-en.php link so we can see if there are problems

RESOLVED.
After updating the PHP on Hostgator cPanel,
I still decided to test the PHP version by creating the "info.php" with one line "<? phpinfo(); ?>"
and pasting the file inside of my website folder.
Then by runing domain/info.php
I could still the old version of php.ini getting loaded.
So the issue was the hosting provider.
After calling them again and showing that info, they fixed it.
