SOLVED Open list article in itemId of current page.

    • I have a few "GANTRY 5" template styles.
When I use"TEMPLATE STYLE A" to present a "CATEGORY LIST" with articles, those articles will open in the default style.
Can I make the articles open in the same "TEMPLATE STYLE A" ?

Somebody mentioned an extension where you can set &itemid= to current page, is there such an extension?

Almost all of the styling for the Main Body is from Joomla. With some of our templates if go into the Styles setting tab of your Outline you might be able to change the background colour and possibly add a background image.

    • Thanks Dan, I need to refrase and clarify my question:

      see:
      sultanabubakarmuseum.com/index.php?optio...3&Itemid=191&lang=en

I have 2 outlines (recognizable by the name added in the footer)

      OUTLINE: Default English
OUTLINE: Default English Events (that contains the extra menu: Current Events ,
Future events , Past events )

I open a "category list" in OUTLINE: Default English Events
I want the articles to open in OUTLINE: Default English Events, but they open in OUTLINE: Default English .

      What am I doing wrong?
I heard some people use an extension which sets the itemid to current page to solve this, is there such an extension?

Setup of the menu item "TEST OUTLINE"

      Your site is currently offline.
You should consider using the Admin -> Global Configuration -> Site Offline -> YES option and then include the site access info in the Secure tab of a reply.

    • Hi,

As a beginner I made the mistake of not understanding that itemId will come from setting a proper (hidden) Menu.
Solved that now. Thanks for your support.
