  • SOLVED unable to update gantry 5

    • hey when i want to try to update the gantry 5 "joomla-pkg_gantry5_v5.2.11"
      i get this error message:

      Warning

      JFolder::create: Could not create folder.Path: /var/www/xx/web/tmp/install_56cd57d2c2466

      Update path does not exist.
      Error

      Unable to create destination
      Message

      Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.

      what could be wrong???

      Check your folder permissions here:
      Admin -> Site or System -> System Information -> Directory Permissions to ensure they're writeable.
      They should look EXACTLY like this:
      This image is hidden for guests.
      Please log in or register to see it.


      Make sure that these match:
      Admin -> Site or System -> Global Configuration -> Server -> Server Settings -> Path to Temp-folder -> my-path/tmp
      Admin -> Site or System -> System Information -> Configuration File -> Server Settings ->tmp_path = my-path/tmp
      and lastly the TMP folder in your Configuration.php file

    • actually all my settings are looking as your suggesting...

      i ave updated to php 5.6 - should that make any difference?

      it seems like there should be /temp/ instead of /temp only..
