    SOLVED Gantry5 Parse Error (gantry5.php line 132)

    • A little background.
      1. I am running WP Multi Site (which hasn't been a problem).
      2. I have Gantry 4 activated for some site.
      3. When I try to activate Gantry 5, I get the following error:
                    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /<local_server_path>/wp-content/plugins/gantry5/gantry5.php on line 132

      I took a look at the file, and it seems fine (I didn't edit anything).
      I have uninstalled and deleted Ganry 4 & 5 files, but the error keeps occuring.
      I am running WP 4.4, PHP 5.2.17

    • Gantry 5 requires PHP 5.4+ or better... for PHP security reasons (nothing to do with Gantry itself) I'd recommend at least 5.6 at present time
