SOLVED Gantry 4 to Gantry 5

I have a site running Lumiere on Gantry 4 and want to upgrade it to Kraken which requires Gantry 5.
I installed the standalone template and then tried to install Gantry 5 but I get an error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JInstallerAdapterPackage::getManifest() in /home/domainfolder/private/tmp/install_561ac4568d66d/install.php on line 75
Is it possible to have both running side by side during migration?

SOLUTION: Upgrade to Joomla 3.4.4 - Anything less than that will give you an error. - Last Edit: 8 years 6 months ago by FlahDesign.
