SOLVED Callista template memory error upon saving

    • Hello:

      So... I did attempt the Joomla upgrade. However I got the following error message such that I cannot complete it:


      Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/.../public_html/plugins/system/gantry5/gantry5.php on line 97

      I showed this to Siteground tech support and they say it is a problem with the plugin itself

      (FYI: I have not yet attempted the Gantry 5 to v5.1.1 update)

      This message is generated 99.99% of the time when you are using a PHP version less than 5.4.x

      You were correct!!!
      I did the PHP upgrade and the Gantry 5 upgrade and so far all looks good...

    • thanks.. had this same issue. thought I was using 5.4 but stupid godaddy hosting made me have to restart the php process 3 times before it would recognize php5.4.
