- How to customize the access for registered users or another joomla users group into coming soon page? Only works with super users, Gantry does not take into account the privileges in the global configuration. Is it a issue?

Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and i'll have a look for you.
It should work for any user, provided they have permission to login when the site is in offline mode.
Please provide example logins that you are trying too.

Ran into the same problem.
what I didn't realize is that the Template Coming soon is turned to "YES" and the Site has to be OFFLINE (Global Config) for the authentication to work and to get access to the site.
Now, when it does authenticate, it immediately goes to the root of the server, not to the root of the site.
How does that get controlled?
