Gantry installation failure

Hi - need some help here.
Fresh install of Joomla 1.6.x
PHP is version 5.3.3
Fresh Jomsocial 2.2 installed
Diretories are all writeable
I uploded the rt_zephyr package (with gantry) and it failed to install.
At first, it said it couldn't create the /libraries/gantry directory - so I created it. That solved that.
Next: It can't copy a CHANGELOG file from one temp directory to another directory... and it just fails the installation.
What am I supposed to do? This seems a little weak and sloppy. Is there a known solution for this, please?

- So, basically what you are saying, there are still permission errors in your Joomla dir.
- Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

The directories are 755. (industry standard) If that is a problem, please let me know. I don't believe this is a permission error.

- It depends. On some servers, 755 is not enough due to ownership settings. Try 757 on the folders and 646 on the files that needs to be writable.

Issue resolved.
Note for anyone else who runs into this:
To solve the issue, I had to set some of the folder to 777 (which made me cringe). After the installation, I set them back to 755 and have had no issues so far.
