Is there a way to disable title span formatting for specific components? I don't want to disable it globally, rather just for content used by the DOCman component.
The following image is an example of titles that contain spaces being stripped of their URL and the thumbnail (because of Gantry).
This image is hidden for guests.

"SF Module - BigDigit" and "RandGen2 (LongWord)" should both have thumbnails and link to a file. The last file, "acx16_dmx" has no space, and is not touched by Gantry
Disabling "Build Titles Spans" prevents it, though removes a rather neat feature from use..

you could try a per menu-configuration to disable that for some pages (dont know if that works) or
copy the file jstools.php from the features folder of com_gantry into the features folder of your template and change these line
$headers = "";:
to make it more specific ...
I dont use DocMan so I cant't tell if that is a h3 (for example) that you need to delete ...
