SOLVED Latest Gantry 5 update messing with menus

Has anyone else noticed the latest update seems to have messed with menu items code displaying - meaning that any item that had an & in the title now is showing as
this & that
anyone know how to fix this or is it just a bug that will be getting fixed asap - getting some annoyed customers that cant make their sites look right... - Last Edit: 8 years 1 month ago by JigsawDesign.

Actually I stand corrected - looks like its after the latest wordpress update?

Looks like the update only effects sites i've built using gantry 5
Any idea whats gone wrong ?
Strangely is just the ampersand as well - tried other symbols and they are fine - just the & thats the issue - Last Edit: 8 years 3 weeks ago by JigsawDesign.

Works for me on Gantry 5 ...
Please post your Username and Password in Secure Tab and i will take a look and maybe figure out what the problem is.
For posting sensitive information you hit the Blue Reply Button and then you will see Secure Tab. Post all info that is sensitive in there, only Fellow Mods, Staff and I can see that! - Available for CUSTOM WORK with Joomla, WordPress and Grav Templates and Gantry Framework!

Try one thing disable all plugins except Gantry 5 and Timber and try changing them and let me know if it works then ...
UPDATE:
I think something is wrong with your theme, can you update it to latest version 5.2.14 github.com/gantry/gantry5/releases/downl...hydrogen_v5.2.14.zip
Here is the instructions how to update the theme click on the WordPress tab to see it for WordPress:

you seemed to fix the problem - but now i can't change the menu order - not sure what you have changed in there ?
should i not wait for the update to be released so that i don't need to recopy any files - would i loose anything doing it this way - the only changes i made are in the custom folder, but would i loose the info in the layout as well ?

If you made only changes to custom folder then you will not lose any changes ... but backup the theme folder just in case ...
