Widget Overrides Not Working - Audacity

Hi Guys,
I bought the Audacity Wordspress theme (uses Gantry 4) for a client site and I am having some odd problems with the Widget overrides - mainly Roksprocket based widgets. I have tried pretty much everything to ensure that there are no duplicate items in different Overrides.
At the moment I am trying to display a specific Roksprocket widget on a Family Homepage (a sort of min homepage/portal within the site) and it keeps displaying the main homepage Roksprocket widget instead. If I try and use shortcodes - it displays an entirely different text based widget from the sidebar of another page.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Gantry, using either pages or menu items as override assignments or a combination of both, I have created unique pages of content for the menus on the site so there is no overlap etc.
I will give you some details in the secure area of this post and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could go in and take a look at what I mean - it's quite frustrating and stressful as I need to finish this off for my client.

Just to be sure that the problem wasn't some type of database corruption - I have done a fresh install of Wordpress and manually setup the theme + plugins up from scratch and the same thing is happening. It seems very much related to the way Roksprocket and the Gantry Overrides system works together (or not as the case may be).
Any experts have a solution for this?

Hi Julian, are you running WordPress 4.4?
Can you provide FTP details, phpMyAdmin Details or cPanel if you can and also backup the site and left it for a few days we are trying to track down this bug with overrides and widgets so the dev will take a look .... - Available for CUSTOM WORK with Joomla, WordPress and Grav Templates and Gantry Framework!

Hi there,
Any sort of timeline on this? The client is going to want me to make a decision early next week - asking me to sort it out or choose another theme/platform and get the site done ASAP.
On the positive side - if this bug is hard to replicate - you can see it happening guaranteed on these test sites. So maybe your developers can sort it out once and for all?
Anyway, please let me know how long it might take as I have to make a decision as to whether I persevere or try something else.

Hi,
One more time sorry for the issue.
Looks like there was a bug caused by a WP 4.4 which caused all of the new widgets placed in the overrides to have wrong id's and thus loading in wrong places. Would you be so kind and help us test tomorrow a Gantry framework snapshot to see if it's going to fix your site before we push it to the WP.org repo ?

Hi,
PLEASE MAKE A DATABASE BACKUP IN CASE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
When you copy/install this snapshot upon first front end refresh, Gantry will clear all of it's caches to match the new baset64 encode method and will execute Widget Fixing script. Some widgets that have bad data might disappear and you might need to place them back again. Rest should be fixed just fine.

Hi there,
Yep it seems to do the trick - thanks for looking into it and fixing!
One thing to note though - as you stated if you have had this bug and have a complex set of widget overrides - some of them will be deleted once this patch is applied - so people should make a note of them before applying the patch. That was the situation for me at least.
