  • Gantry 4..1.33 won't display menu

    • Searched, but no solutions presented themselves.

      Clean Joomla 3.7.4 install.

      Installed Gantry Framework 4.1.33 then Gantry Template 4.1.33.

      Installed Admin Tools, Akeeba Backup, JCE Pro, Chronoforms and Hotspots.

      Can't get menu to appear using Gantry Template. Shows up fine in Protostar and Bees3.

      Is Gantry 4.1.33 Framework and Template still not ready for primetime? We installed them early on and destroyed one of our sites and had to revert to 4.1.32 versions.

    • Figured this one out.

      For some inexplicable and frankly, unbelievable reason, Gantry 4 Template requires BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE RokNavMenu to show menus. Crazy, huh? You'd think a template *might* include what it needs to work, wouldn't you?

      Silly us.

      Really? It only cost us a day of development to figure this out.

      Boo.

      Is there a list of extras Gantry Template needs in order to work correctly? That would be nice to have...

    • Please note that by answering your own post you take yourself out of the MODS "unanswered posts" queue and therefore might have to wait longer for a response - it's better to edit your original post so this does not happen. You actually gave us 1 hour to respond before answering yourself and taking yourself out the queue - otherwise we might have save you some time.

      If you install the rocketlauncher package then it does include everything that is required to ghet a working site. If you only install the template package then it only installs the template and nothing else.

      Other extensions that you might want to install would be: rokbooster, rokcandy, rokpad.
