    change template

Posted 7 years 7 months ago
    • Hi.
Is it possible to switch to a different template, if I want to use a different template, for special pages.
If so, how do I do it?

    • Yes, install the other template and assign the template to the pages that are required to use it (in template manager assignments). But I do counsel against using multiple template as it's usually not a good experience for your site visitors when the "look" of your site keeps changing between menu items. I would also counsel against mixing a gantry5 based template with a Gantry 4 based template as this can bring another level of complexity too (and definitely fundamentally different looks and functionality).

      Regards, Mark.

By i only get the Error message when i look at the site from a iPad.
Do you know what the problemes are?

      Regards JanH

    • 1. Your Gantry TEMPLATE is way out of date on v4.1.21 yet you are using Gantry FRAMEWORK 4.1.32 - update the Gantry TEMPLATE to the matching version number of the Gantry 4 framework. Backup before you update.
      2. I don't see this error message anywhere (even on my ipad)? please do a screenshot of the error message.

      Regards, Mark.

    • You had error level set to "maximum" in global configuration so I changed it back to "system default" and the error no longer shows on ipads.
