SOLVED Gantry 3.1.17 on/off buttons broken

I upgraded from Gantry 3.1.15. The diagnostic tests show successful, and it indicates version 3.1.17. The drop down lists work fine, however none of the on/off selections toggle. This is true for all my Gantry templates. Around the same time I was updating various Rok items, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. My Joomla version is the latest 1.5.23.
What should I do next? If uninstalling and reinstalling Gantry is the way to go, can you tell me if there are any additional files/modules/plugins to watch out for during the process?

Update--the color chooser sections also do not work within Gantry.
I uninstalled Gantry component and reinstalled--successfully, but still the same problem persists.

- This was due to the Cache Cleaner plugin--installing the latest version solved the problem.
