    Gantry default template module positions

Posted 12 years 7 months ago
    • Hello All,

Can anybody point me to a JPG of the module positions for the default Gantry template...like the ones that come with the club templates?...does it exist?...those are very handy.

    • Henning, that's perfect...thanks!

It's Joomla 1.7 and Gantry 3.2.11, by the way...

    • This is very helpful. But I'm using the template that was installed along with Gantry and for the life of me I can't get rid of the 4 paragraphs just below the navigation position. I've turned off every module I can think of and adjusted the columns in the Gantry template area.
I'm a newbie to this and its great...just this one thing driving me nuts.

    • TMG, if you're talking about the articles that start like:

      Joomla! (bodytext)
      Beginners (bodytext)
      Upgraders (bodytext)
      Professionals (bodytext)

...those are sample articles that install with the Joomla sample data. If you look in your Article Manager, they each have the blue button active in the 'featured' column. Joomla displays a set of articles on the front page that are marked 'featured' in Article Manager. You can click the blue buttons to make them not featured and not show on the front page.

    • The sample's I was talking about are headlined:
      960 Grid System
      Intuitive interface
      Menu Item Control
      Layout control

They all appear just below the navigation bar all link back to the same article from the navigation bar: Gantry Features.

I've tried using all 4 of the sample templates and have the same problem.

      Thanks

I'm running Joomla 12.5 and using Gantry for 1.5 if that matters.

    • Yes....thanks. Here's what I've tried in effort to turn them off:

In joomla I've located those module positions and turned them off.

After refreshing they' re still showing.

I've tried going into Gantry and reducing the number if Showcase positions from4 to 1. Still does nothing.

      Any other ideas?

Thanks so much for your help :)
