Caching and Compression for Mobile templates

This is very helpful; thank you.
However, it includes no information regarding caching for mobile. Joomla 1.5 does not differentiate between mobile and desktop caches, so will display the stored cache to every visitor. If we activate our mobile template and it gets cached, this results in desktop users being shown the mobile template. Is there any solution for high traffic sites that need caching and also want to offer the lovely RT mobile templates? At the moment, we cannot have both mobile templates and caching. Any help would really be appreciated.
