    • The module positions are not showing correctly on my home page at www.jukeboxjockey.com . However internal pages are loading correctly. Do you have any suggestions.

Go in to the backend and view the template settings. Adjust the left and/or right column widths so they will accept the modules you have there. I had a similar issue and this adjustment worked fine for my site.

    • I'm having a similar issue but it's in IE6/7.. yes I know.. yuck, but it's what the client's client uses.

Is there a Joomla template somewhere that just works with IE6/7?

    • I don't think it's the template, but rather the modifications you guys have made.

If you look at the demo in IE 6 it is fine: Free Joomla SEO Template

Also, just launched a site using the same template and it renders fine for me in IE6:

      Water Jet Cutting Australia

I'd compare your showcase/feature mod with that in the demo. It uses a table-less div structure by letting you set u 1 2 3 or 4 columns. An error in there is probably what's throwing off your layouts.

Also remember that in IE6 you must give an image width and height so check that as well.

      Hope it helps,

      R

    • I figured out part of my problem. I had a couple menu items that were added for spacing (separators I think). They were pushing content to wrap on the menu and that was causing all sorts of problems.. Took those out and it seems to be working...

      hi jay,

when checking your html validation i see a few errors referring to unclosed <img> tags...
      validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2F...jukeboxjockey.com%2F

these are most likely to blame for the site not displaying correctly. please check your content and add the missing tags, then everything should work.

      hi there,

yes, separator menu items can break a site completely in ie, best to not use them at all.
just noticed that you are on versatility4 now, do you still need help for afterburner?
