      Your membership has expired some months ago, that's why you can't access specific forums anymore.

      You can try this:
      rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess. Some servers created .htaccess file automatically. In this case, remove that .htaccess and use the Joomla .htaccess

      - in global configuration, SEO Settings, please set "Use Apache mod_rewrite" to Yes. Most servers nowadays, have this feature already. If they are not willing to enable mod_rewrite in their server, time for you to move to another hosting :cheesy:

      - If you see error, you may check one thing more. Open your .htaccess, and check this:

      ## Can be commented out if causes errors, see notes above.
      Options +FollowSymLinks

      Try to change it to:

    • I have done the baove modification, but still giving me error 500.

      After that I change back the htaccess to txt, error of the original error 404.

    • Have you tried to contact your hosting provider whether they have mod_rewrite enabled for their server?
      Usually the above method should work for most cases, I suspect the problem is located in your server now

    • OK, I finally contacted them. My provider says, that they already have mod_rewrite enabled. But still the same problem. They also say that probably the link page is missing.
