Migrating legacy php site to joomla

    • I've posted this in relation to another SEF post, but thought I would submit a separate post to pursue my answer.

I understand that in order to migrate my existing php site, www.kaffeinebuzz.com , to Joomla, I'll need to copy and paste each page. What concerns me is preserving the existing URL of each legacy page when it is converted to a page within the new Joomla based site.

Can I use a SEF extention to do this?

I've gotten conflicting information on whether this is possible or not, and have yet to delve into it. It would help to know if others have faced this challenge and how they overcame it, and if a SEF extension was used, which one provided the best results in relation to this migration issue.
