    Tutorials - Flash format?

Posted 15 years 7 months ago
    • I searched the whole RT board for tutorial flash and didn't find anything on the fist page....

I just tried to watch the Chromatophore tutorial, and it froze up my Quicktime player. I don't know what format they are in, but I decided that maybe I needed to upgrade. Quicktime is a pretty heavy upgrade, about 75MB, and it took a while on my machine.

Anyhow, I was wondering if there is some technical superiority to Quicktime or .mov, or whatever format the current tutorials are in vs. good old Flash, which always seems to work for me, and to be pretty light weight, maintenance-wise.

Can we maybe get Flash tutorials, too?

Thanks for any education or explanation,
      Ken

    • The tutorials are all down on Macs so .mov is the standard format for the recording software.
