Need help adding banners for site - perihelion HELP!!!

Just started my membership and Joomla as a whole and I am learning php and css as I go. But I have a coding question. As you can see from BROKEN LINK REMOVED, I have a podcasting button in the top module section and I need to know how to code the addition of 2 more module spaces next to that banner.
Any help will be MASSIVELY appreciated:)

- when I install virtumart and add any modules to right or left, in the categpry view of products there appears this huge height gap (almost as high as the module itself) between the title of category and the product list itself.
