HiveMind + Community Builder Configuration Issue

Hi-
I installed the HiveMind 1.0 rocket launcher, then added community builder. For some reason, all the community builder forms and registration show below the slideshow and sliding menus... I (and a user) would expect the front page content to disappear completely to show the registration option... like it does with the Populus templates. The HiveMind template is much more attractive and I would prefer to use it... how do I configure the template so that the slide show and sliding menus disappear when someone logs in or registers with CB Login?
