A joomla module problem, modules not showing on assigned menu items.

    • Some of my menu items are not showing any of the modules that have been assigned to them on the backend.

And further, when they are selected from the menu, the menu doesn't "light up" or indicate that the menu is active.

Here is what it should look like:
~ you can see that the modules are there on the left, and the "Sports" menu link is active. (I have yet to add the content for the page, so don't let that be distracting)

Here is a page that is not behaving:
~you can see that no modules are showing, although the same ones as on the other page have been assigned to it. And the "Community" menu link is not active.

Here is the "Contact Us" page (it is a child item of the Home menu):
~ Module on left is showing, and Home is active, as it's parent menu item

Here is the "Become a Member" page (also a child of Home):
~ No modules showing (although there are modules assigned to it) and the parent menu (Home) is not showing.

Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening to some menu items and not others? And how I can correct this problem?

Thank you so much for any advice or assistance!! ;)

    • What SEF component are you using? I found that Artio can cause problems like this.

    • My site is still in development, so I'm going to try sh404sef and see if that helps....

    • So I did switch to sh404SEF and it cleared up most of the problem, but I still can't get any modules to attach to my Registration page. This is a little frustrating, as I was hoping to use some mods to explain the benefits of membership, and to link to contests for members etc.

      Any thoughts or suggestions?

      Thanks!
