If you see that extension in the Demo, then just publish the extension to that position and it will use the style override if it has it.

    • Thanks Ben. Do you happen to know if the RokIntroScroller extension has the style override? Also, any chance of this extension being adding to the extension area?

    • The best thing to do is check the Demo sites here and see what is enabled there. If you see it there, it's got the styling for it. This is where RT can show off everything in each template.

As for what is going to be added to the extensions area, there is always a lot in the works and the new area was created so that more could be added. You'll have to just keep checking back. Just today I saw the RokComments extension added.

    • I'm not able to download the extensions. What does Windows XP need to download them? I have winzip and that works for downloading extensions from Joomla.org.

      Thanks for your help!

    • Regarding EXTENSIONS:

I have tried with FireFox, IE7, IE8, and Chrome. The extensions download but not as zipped files. They're downloaded as .efw files. I can then zip them up and upload them through Joomla. However, that does not always work. For example, the process worked for mod_rokstories but it does not work for the com_rokmodule where it says it's missing and XML file. "Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package."

Besides that, I'm having some pretty annoying things happening with my computer and/or internet...

With Rockettheme.com - I log in normally but when I click on Forum, I get logged out so that means I can't log into all the template forums anymore to ask questions or search for information.

However, when I click on a topic that I can see (like this one for example), I am asked to log in and I do then it let's me post a reply. But if I click on Forum again, it appears to log me out (i.e. my user name disappears from the top of the website). If I just click on Home, my screen name appears again except then I'm on the Home page. In the recent past, I was able to access most forums but now I can't.

    • Sounds like you might have kind of virus protection that is messing with the web sites you visit and when you download/upload.
The problem you describe with the forums sound like cookies not being created or cookies truncated by something other than your browser.

    • OK - I think I solved it.

The problem was with a security suite on the computer I'm using. CA Security Suite was an 'extra' feature that was shipped out to customers by the ISP company, RoadRunner. The CA suite's firewall settings were really screwing with lots of things and I was about to delete the whole suite.

If anyone else has RoadRunner or has had problems downloading files you trust - have a look at this: knightknetwork.com/2008/01/31/fix-your-efw-file-problems/

That fixes the downloading problem but NOT the logging in problem which was affecting every single website I wanted to register with or log in as a user. It was a nightmare getting anything done.

So if you're having other problems, the other option is to turn off the CA firewall and just use the Windows firewall. That will make your life easier. You can turn it back on later if you wish.

      Anyway...

    • Hi Joe,

I guess you posted that as I was writing my little rant.

      Cheers! 8)
