Hi Andy i have a question about the paypal subscriptions on rockettheme.
Are you using a custom component to complete the registrations after the customer have pay, or are using something like joomlapal, moslock ...?

- it's based on moslock but i've had to make extensive customizations to it to work with my custom club needs like expiration.

I've been looking into a paypal subscription system like the one that has been used here, and AEC, as linked to below, seems to be a good possibility:

Has anyone used this and can you comment on it?
One thing that it does not speak about is the auto-creation of a username, like what is done here at RocketTheme. Is this possible?

There is an excellent component written by Jeff Wolkove of Mambo Resources, it is called Mambo Charge. We have no problems with his component and it handles user registration and subscriptions in an excellent way. When someones subscription expires or there payment fails after 2 attempts their access is automatically reduced back down to a basic level of access.
Excellent and requires little or no maintenance! We have three levels of access on our site and his component handles everything!

Here are the Key Features
# You determine what user group the member is put into when they subscribe
# On termination you can lock their account, or drop them to a different access group.
