Help Please New to Joomla and RT Can't install

Trying to install carbonite get this error
Unable to create directory '/var/www/vhosts/archanfse.com/httpdocs/joomla_folder/media/install_4542a6a733e13/rt_carbonation/'Unable to create path for /var/www/vhosts/archanfse.com/httpdocs/joomla_folder/media/install_4542a6a733e13/rt_carbonation/
Everything shows writable to me.

Hi Michael,
You might start be providing a URL to the troubled site.
Also, are you having trouble with Joomla also, or just the RocketTheme template?

I uploaded joomla and the default templated work fine. I just cannot get the rockettheme templates to upload. I have followed all the instructions. Going to the templete manager, pointing to the downloaded file, upload and installm, but get the errors given in my initial post

What file extension does the template file have?
Possible your host doesn't have the proper support for compressed files Joomla needs. - Magento - phpBB3 - Kunena - RokBridge Specialist

They were part of the initial upload.
Create a phpinfo.php file in the root of your setup and add this to it:Then use your browser and navigate to this new file.<?php // Show all information, defaults to INFO_ALL phpinfo(); // Show just the module information. // phpinfo(8) yields identical results. phpinfo(INFO_MODULES); ?>
Look for this in the Output
ZLib Support enabled
If it is missing have your host add it.
Remove the phinfo.php file when done troubleshooting.

Hi Michael,
I've used the technique that Yves has mentioned. Try that.
Just unzip the file and FTP the files (in a folder) to the 'templates' folder. Then, in the Joomla Admin control panel set the new template as 'default'.
But, your original problem could be a matter of file/folder permissions.
