as im new i dont know who the admin are around here yet.
but i would like to mention something that has been bugging me. (you dont seem to have a suggestions type forum)
but...
you have a members submissions area of the forum. which is wonderfull, got some nice PSDs thanks again Kevin!!
but there seems to be something you have over looked.
you see i assume you give all paying members access to this forum?
the thing is some of the custom things in there shouldnt be made available to all paying members.
say for instance - i see Arifin Liau uploaded Mobius with a custom cpanel. i can download that - even though i do not pay for the joomla themes - (and it is very tempting
) (im kidding)
and as i dont pay for joomla themes i shouldnt be able to
what i'm trying to say (as sometimes i like to beat around the bush)
is that you should have 2 (possibly 3) user submitted areas
1 for smf customs (for smf paying customers)
1 for joomla custom (for joomla paying customers)
(and possibly a third for general custom stuff that all members have access to)
i hope you guys appreciate it

Do you mean, SMF Club Members (but not Joomla Theme Club Members) Can download all the attachment modified Joomla templates in member submission forum? Or, you can download mine only?

You only have access to the SMF themes, although you can 'access' these same themes via the downloads button in the joomla section. How many sections do you see here:

i think you misunderstood what i was saying,
(i only see the free and SMF themes on that page)
but in the members submit area of the forum.
im allowed to download the custom versions of some of your joomla themes. (that are hosted off site)
say for instance i can go here -
www.rockettheme.com/index.php?option=com...mid=149&topic=3845.0
and download the link - then go to the url in the doc, and download the theme.
this is why i suggested a seperate forum for joomla and smf submissions
hope that makes more sense

That seems to be a reasonable suggestion. Separate 'submission forums' for SMF and templates - with approved access to each?
Membership to:
Templates & SMF = Access to both Template & SMF submission forums
Templates only = Access to template submission forum but not to SMF submission forum
SMF only = Access to SMF submission forum but not to the Template submission forum
Is that what you are saying? Not sure how or if Andy could set that up.

yes thats what im saying.
it really wouldnt be that hard to set up - just the same as it is now, just changing the pemissions a bit.

That's a helpful suggestion, Craig. As things shake out, it most likely will be considered. There's a lot of needs at RT that will be addressed as time permits. One of the concerns is security and piracy. RT is still in 'launch phase' and will need to adjust it's orbit soon. I'm sure your suggestion has been heard, Craig. Good info!
