Slow Administrator page??? HELP!!!

I am not sure if there is anything anybody can recommend but I have a huge problem with Joomlah when it comes to login in the administrator page.. The page is way to slow..
In my website I have currently over 2500 articles and I get about 6400+ unique vizitors a day. Could this be that Joomlah cannot support such trafic or do I need to improve something on my database because just to put an article now days I have to spent almost 30 minutes.
Please help!!!

Hehe its because of your images folder having too many images. Joomla editor has to load this all with a js before anything can be done.
What I recommend is to move all your images outside joomla (maybe use an image gallery software) and put them as link.

Does this mean that all my 6000+ images will have to be re-directed to a new folder outside of the "stories" folder? If so, then I would assume I would have to go to all my articles and re-link them...
Is there a quick fix???
