SOLVED Logo image link is not consistent across site

Hello,
I never had an issue with this before, but ever since updating to the latest Gantry and Joomla 3.5 the logo link seems to be different depending on the page of the site, if you are in an article or blog entry, the logo link will change to the category view link or even the link of the actual page being viewed rather than the site homepage, consistently across the site.

Not sure what the issue is. I have one default template layout, and one assigned to the Homepage only. So there shouldn't be this phenomenon occuring.
Is this a bug with the new versions?

I guess we can close this as solved by Joomla.
My guess is somewhere in the install of the previous version of Joomla a file got corrupted, not enough to take your site down but just be a PITA.
So the update with correct files fixed the issue.
