SOLVED Gantry 5: Can I set general link color for the whole site through outline?

For example, in Ambrosia template, there is a style setting:
#g-mainbar a{color:#000}
It is not hard to write a custom CSS line to override this, but this is only going to affect the mainbar, for other sections, I might have to write more overriding lines. I think general link color should be an accent color and it should be able to be set on the outline setting page. Is there a way to do this? - Last Edit: 8 years 9 months ago by shenk.

Posted 8 years 9 months ago- Yes there is a way do you want it to be for body for example, and you set it in styles tab?

Hi Damir,
I have the same issue, so I answer on behalf of Shenk: yes, I need to change the color link for all parts of the website, and if it is possible by the styles tab.
Setting the color link using custom.scss doesn't work.

Hi Damir,
I'm sorry but accent colors seems to have no effect on the links color.
I can not understand the utility of accent colors, documentation is vague and insufficient. It seems really strange that you can not change something so simple but important as the color of the links directly from the backend.
I hope someone of the staff can suggest an useful answer

If you change Accent Color 1 it will change the color link i tested this!
Please post your URL, Username and Password in Secure Tab and i will take a look and maybe figure out what the problem is.

Add this to the scss file and it will work.
#g-mainbar a { color: #205ca4; &:hover { color: #000000; } }
To add custom style sheet to Gantry 5 Framework please follow these instructions:
