SOLVED Changes to not save to the template!

  • SOLVED Changes to not save to the template!

Posted 8 years 10 months ago
    • Hi, I searched this forum and I saw that many other people had the same problem as well, but I coudln't find a solution for it.
I purchased the template a few days ago and for some reason when I make changes, the changes don't apply to the template unless I change the defult template and then change the deful template back to my Spectral Template. How can this be fixed?

      Thank you!

You have to provide us with a few more details.

Did you install the Stand-alone template or the RocketLauncher?
Our RocketLauncher's usually come with a Default MASTER template and an copy of the MASTER called an "override" template, usually the copy is called Spectral-Home.

So the Default MASTER template provides the feature set and styling for all the menu pages on the site. However at times we need to stylize the Home page a little differently. So a override is created and that template would be assigned to the Home page.

Are you sure your making the changes in the right template?

    • Thank you so much for the quick reply,

yes! I checked everything and I did exactly as it was said in the documentation for getting the demo site!
Would it be ok if I provided you with my site info so you could take a look at it? a simple test would be just changing the main preset in the Defult menu and saving it, then you'll see that no change takes place in the website, but as soon as you make another template the defult menu and switch back to Sepctral, the changes take place! Strange! Again, thank you :-)
