Gantry errors with ListMessenger plugin

I am using ListMessenger for Joomla 1.5.x and its generating these errors. I spoke with Phil Taylor the developer and he said its an issue with the theme.
Is there any fix or will it never be compatible?

Ok, I spoke with Phil and we've tracked down the issue to a line in the ListManager component. I think he will have a fixed version released soon, but in the meantime, can you comment out this line:
/components/com_mailinglist/includes/eu_header.inc.php line 74:
#unset($_GET, $_POST);

Andy, would it be possible for you to follow up with Phil on this?
I've just encountered this same error. And from looking at the date of this thread it's been almost 5 months and it doesn't appear to have been fixed by Phil.
I know it's not really your job, but I figures that since you 2 tracked down the problem together you would be more capable of following up with any of the technical info that Phil may need to jog his memory about it.
