registered menu item shows to public after upgrade

Not sure if it was actually the upgrade that did this, but it seemed to be when I upgraded. I have a menu item that should only show when someone is logged in. Lately after an upgrade from 3.2.4 to 3.2.6 the menu item doesn't show if someone logs in. Only if I clear cache will it show. It also doesn't disappear when you log out unless I clear cache.
Anyone else have this issue? Could I be overlooking something else?

- not sure what could of caused that. certainly nothing related to that was changed in the release. I suggest clearing your cache though, sometimes Joomla can do weird things with access and caching.

it's apparently a known 1.6 bug
