Hi,
I'm new to the Gantry system and am having a problem with the parameter interface.
I can't seem to be able to change the settings using the latest system 3.1.6! For example, the buttons don't work and the same with the drop downs! so, I can't change the default layouts.
Can someone please help me!

Hi Rich,
Thanks for your help but I'm no closer to solving this issue. This is the message I get after switching on debugging.
"Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10034 is not allowed to access /var/www/vhosts/pulse8.uk.com/httpdocs/administrator/cache/_gantry owned by uid 48 in /var/www/vhosts/pulse8.uk.com/httpdocs/components/com_gantry/core/utilities/cache/fileCacheDriver.class.php on line 215"

- Please tell your webhost to turn off safe mode. It's not even recommended to use it by the PHP dev's.

- And try making /administrator/cache/ writable (755 or 757 depending on config)
