Gantry CSS Confusion

- I am new to using Gantry and am a bit confused by it. For instance, I want to change the line height on my site and I see it is being controlled by a line in Gantry CSS. Should I modify Gantry CSS directly? It seems that the backend template manager actually makes modifications to the CSS, so I dont want to screw anything up by manually tweaking something. Also, I only want to change the line height in the showcase and feature areas, so it would seem I need to add some CSS. So, should I add it to Gantry CSS, template CSS, or create a separate CSS file? Sorry for the newb questions that are probably already answered somewhere, I'm just trying to cut down the time spent searching. Thanks

Yes you can edit gantry.css but it might be overwritten when you update Gantry so this is a better solution:
