I would like to create a Form in my Versatility II template which sends data to a MySQL data base rather than sending an e-mail (contact page for example). Can anyone suggest a component or another method to do this?? Do any rocket theme templates already do this?
Is it possible to use a database outside of the Joomla directory so I can drop data directly into my CRM system?
After migrating to Joomla 1.5, will this change? Is there a better approach in Joomla 1.5? I am re-creating my site with the Hivemind template and would like to create a dynamic process to get web uses from my template to my sales system.

- There may be a joomla extension that will do this, www.joomla.org is probably the best place to look for such a component
