Why Rocket Theme

Why did you choose Rocket Theme over any other Joomla! template club or business?
I believe that Rocket Theme has something unique about it which is absent from all other template clubs. All template clubs have Joomla! templates
but I find that RT offers something different. All templates from RT are completely unique and never really fit the pattern of a previous template. Therefore, when a new template comes out, it truely is a "new" template, not a remake of an old one. When browsing some other clubs, I always thought to myself, "Yeah, some good templates, but they all look very similar with an almost identical structure" (I always think this about Joomlart!)
Probably the most important aspect of RT, in my views, which make it better than the rest, is the Community. Everyone is incredibly friendly and so helpful. Just scan through the forums and you will always see members helping someone else, or just making general chit chat. I am also shocked to see that the "Boss People"
play as much as an active role in the forums as any member. There just appears to be a strong lattice within these forums that creates a very warm and opening atmosphere. I never see members getting frustated, even if the same question has been asked 100 times again.
I am extremely judgmental (character flaw
) and I will, even though I probably shouldn't, a template club or similar business by the website they have. If they are going to sell you something, their best work should be their own, purposely built for them. I found this lacking on other sites. RT is different, as we all know, it has a structure that is separate from any other. I believe this is due to Andy's abilites to not conform to the general, default structure of a typical Joomla! website. Everything is easily accessibly from the main page without clutter becoming a major problem. It has a presence of being something better!
The last point that I can think of, which to some may be the most important, is the value for money. For a relatively cheap price, you can have access to the best templates on the market. I would have thought that RT templates would have been more expensive but was shocked to see the actual price!
I repeat my intial statement, Why did you choose RT over any other? - What makes it better for you?
And to Conclude...

Well stated James! I joined obviously because I like Andy's style when it comes to templates. They are of the best quality and fun to work with. I enjoy reading the boards and helping out when I can. What a great community we have here!
Cheers,
Mike

I joined because I saw the potential of offering websites (a side venture) but without having to build them from ground up. I jumped onto the Mambo wave, swerved over to Joomla when it 'forked' and found that some guy who called himself rhuk was building the best quality templates. That began in mid 2004. By following rhuk, I discovered it was Andy and have been a fan ever since.
Coupled with Andy and Kevin's great quality, is the blast I have on this forum. You folks are a hoot and so much fun to chat with. Most people don't take themselves too seriously and have a great sense of humor - and very creative and knowledgeable! There are a few sphincter squeezers (anal retentive) around, but (excuse the pun) after being around RT for a while, they lighten up and have a good time with us all.
Andy, Kevin and the great RT membership are, in my view, the true face of the Open Source revolution.

I was looking for help in working with the Solar Flare II template and I discovered that it was created by this mysterious guy named Rhuk. So... after some googling I discovered where Rhuk hung his hat (at Andy's old site/ name which the name of escapes me know).
I found the site quite interesting and once I was flush with some $$ I joined up - by that time it was called Rocket Theme.
Rocket Theme has the best Joomla themes out there IMHO and the community here is just great.
All Hail King Andy & Crew!

Initially, I joined because RT had awesome looking Joomla! themes with matching SMF themes and active help on the forums. Even though SMF templates have gone away, the thriving and helpful community will make me a Pro member when it comes time to renew. Besides, the templates keep getting better and better.

If you join the Pro Membership the beer is free - and Andy lounges around in his Hugh Hefner robe.

And purple pimp hat!
Yes! That pimp hat has become a trademark.
There's a webcam that follows Andy from room to room. And just for folks with the Pro Membership, there is a live feed from Andy's display as he designs the next template - and a foot message!
The forum Moderators are allowed to drop by and worship Andy. Sometimes the webcam catches a Moderator as he kisses Andy's ring.
