Very affordable. As compared to template sites that don't offer club memberships, RT is more affordable. Joomlashack for example, offers clean designs the validating code but non-Joomlashack branded templates are $89 each.

RT designs push the envelope but the css is usually intelligible. Developers like themestock aren't in the same league.

The online support forums are responsive - both the RT developers and the users community are extremely helpful.

Fireworks support files are well put together.

Those are my major reasons. Some I knew before buying membership. Others I found out after buying membership and they've convinced me up upgrade.
