I've decided to break out on my own with yet another football-themed site. In my case, it's Fantasy Football.
http://fantasyfootballwhiz.comNews and information are paramount, and I will be adding a few things to help feature those things. (Advice on freebie tools that might look/work well would be appreciated!) I am using an SMF forum.
The site is still under construction, and I have yet to work out a good way to present my "team sites" data as I wanted to include some weather information, etc... and the scripts for various weather sticker-type modules won't run properly through the content editors, and I have not yet found an adequate Joomla! module or component that will do what I want on these sub-pages. I am leaning toward creating static html pages and using a wrapper on them - although, once again, any ideas of a workaround would be welcome!
