I tried to give access to a user to the Author Status, and I even tried to go as an administrator on the front end of the page so that I may publish an article, but when I try to save the article, it says that I need to choose a category.  The problem is that on the dropdown list at the category section, there is no categories.

Out of the admin site I can publish articles without any problem, but on the "Submit News" section of the user registration, this is not getting done.

Any suggestions?
