Hey Dave,
To get ssp into joomla, all you need to do is place the <object> embed code into your desired content page.
I made a static content item and placed the code in there...
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0" width="600" height="460">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.YOURSERVER/sspadmin/slideshow.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="menu" value="false" />
<param name="wmode" value="" /><param name="BGCOLOR" value="#ffffff" />
<embed src="http://www.YOURSERVER/sspadmin/slideshow.swf" width="600" height="460" wmode="" quality="high" menu="false" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" bgcolor="#ffffff"></embed>
</object>
I have to say that getting ssp & sspadmin to run was quite easy. I did have a small problem with my ssp & sspadmin being on a sub-domain which caused problems, but the support forum for sspadmin sorted my problem in a few hours of posting. I greatly recommend these slideshow products, easily the best out there and damn cheap too!
