Ok, folks the server has been moved, and it went 'pretty' smoothly. During the move we also switched to OpenSEF as it has more options and better caching than our previous solution. Most of the links still work fine, as we've configured OpenSEF to mimic the previous url format.
One exception is that the links in this forum don't have the needed "component/" element before the option,com_smf/ part of the link. Until we have this resolved, internal links in the forum will be broken. I assure you we are will be contacted the OpenSEF authors asap to find a solution to this.

Ok, with some creative .htaccess mod_rewrite rules I think we have a solution for the internal links that should work fine.

At first I thought "This site loads fine... why switch servers?" But not that you did, I realized that it's not just my wireless connection slowing things down, there was a bit of server lag before. Everything's loading quicker today! Excellent. Now I can goof off at work tomorrow more efficiently.  |

I got this one too. Noticed gmail e-mail headers is complaining about new IP. It is not getting flagged as spam in gmail but doesn't hurt to have an spf record. Return-Path: <nobody@saturn.rockettheme.com>

This should work OK for you.
I use this for most of my domains.
Create a .TXT record for your domain and add this: v=spf1 a mx ~all
In this case the servers listed in the MX record are checked in order of preference, and if the IP for any of those servers matches the sending mailserver's IP, the SPF check results in a match.
