Hello Rocketteers, I would like to have some comments about my new site http://www.guyaneweb.comActually, I'm working to finish the site. Some sections like cinéma are not completes but I'm working hard!!! I'm using ijoomla in the main page and I'll create others magazines in the future. The site have a lot of mambots, modules and components. If you visit the section named "jeux", you'll see for example the JoGadgets integrated in the ijoomla. All RSS are displayed with an external script (in the frontpage with scroll and in the section "actualités"). I have a lot of work to finish the portal but the global design is this. Tell me your comments and suggestions please because I want to make a beautifull site  |

Great work, bravo !
In Safari, little problem of display of top bar when hovering on the tabs, upper part is cut (see attachment).
Another thing: I would decrease the size of the texts (grey, not orange) in your RSS, it looks bigger than the rest of your texts.
You can also submit your site to the Site of the month !

Thank you Yves!  The default color of the template is green and not orange because it's the color of amazonia. Do you change the color with the color chooser? thanks for your comment about the RSS size text. I'll make some modifications in all RSS and I'll see the result with smaller font |

If some members can check for me if the site load correctly with IE... When I use IE the site load slowly but my internet connection is bad!

Really Nice There is a lot of content !!!  Your site is a little bit slow but it is normal you have many flash. Personnaly I don't like the flash header rotator (not yours but in general) because it slow the site and moreover it catch too much the eyes of visitors. And if you want keep all your flash ... if you want fast a little your site, you can compress the css and generally all the script of the template. It will delete all the white space and it will be unreadeable for an human but better for the serveur. |

Thanks for reply Youyou! Yes there is a lot of content and it's only the begining I'm working to add more sections like in a real portal  Compression of the CSS and the php is a good idea and I will make this when the site will be more complete... I'm using your two modification of the carbonation. First version in the main site and version 2 in the webTV section with header image because I cant use the flash rotator with the webtv component. They are not compatible... I hope you will have the time to modify other templates for us because the university is hard!!! Few years ago I've worked in Brazil for the University of Nancy II... |

YouYou...is it very complicated to implement that compression on the css and scripts of the template? i am interested in finding a way of making my site load faster(still developing). Maybe there is a tutorial somewhere? cheers, NiCo |

I hope you will have the time to modify other templates for us because the university is hard!!! Few years ago I've worked in Brazil for the University of Nancy II... Ah ah I don't think I will release many customisation because I'm also at University I am in my last year of engeneering schools (and not in informatique but in Mechanics) so I've very little time to work on Web-developpement. You have work for the University of NancyII ? I live in Nancy in France ! The world is small |

I'm not at University now Youyou. I finished my course You know I'm french but I lived 11 years in Brazil where I worked like teacher at the "Alliance Française" (French Cultural Centers) and at the University of Belém too. The University of Nancy II have a partnership with the Brazil and I was french teacher for the students who would make the course of the Nancy II (first and second years - histoire, langue et littérature = DEUG) It's was a very good period of my life |
