I'm not preaching to the choir,

I just want to say that the more people try to hype up ad interfering technologies the less useful the internet will be. The more traffic we get the more revenue we get, we don't get extra traffic without good/useful content- which motivates us to make an interesting site in the first place; subsequently it’s the effectiveness of ad revenue that improves the effectiveness of the internet.

The world gets information about ad-interfering technologies from the internet, as web designers we are the internet.  So for those of us not just selling widgets on our sites, let’s add a negative connotation to any discussion that sprouts in positive light to this movement. It may seem a minuscule problem now but it will only get worst and increase exponentially.
